Based on the 1992 cult classic film, the musical, which is currently playing at the Piccadilly Theatre, will play its final performance on the 27th of October. Six Gets West End Extension

The hit musical Six, which uses modern music to tell the story of Henry VIII’s wives, has announced a three-week extension to it’s West End run. The show, which first premiered in Edinburgh in 2017, will now run from the 30th of August to the 17th of October. Mrs Doubtfire Headed to Broadway

The classic comedy Mrs Doubtfire is to be adapted into a Broadway musical. Jerry Zaks has been announced as the director for the show, which will follow the same plot as the 1993 film and the book by Anne Fine, Alias Madame Doubtfire, of a struggling actor who disguises himself as a Nanny so he can see his children. John O’Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick, best known for their work on the Tony-nominated Something Rotten, will pen the script, whilst Kirkpatrick and his brother will write the music. Casting is yet to be announced.
