For many people with Autism and other conditions, theatre trips used to be pretty much impossible, or at least were a very stressful experience. But now, with the rise of specially adapted ‘Relaxed Performances’, more and more people will be able to experience the magic of theatre. To help out anyone who may be interested, I’ve written up a little guide to a few of the Relaxed Performances on offer this Christmas in the local area…
Tabby McTat, the Stables – Presented by Freckle Productions, this stage adaptation of the much loved Julia Donaldson book will be running a Relaxed Performance on Thursday the 27th of December, at 1:30 pm. For more information, please go to http://www.thestables.org.
Robin Hood, MK Theatre – Milton Keynes Theatre’s Pantomimes have been running Relaxed Performances for a few years now and this year is no different.
